Research shows that 1 in 5 Australians have experienced image-based abuse (IBA).
With men and women being equally likely to be targets.
Targets of IBA, a phenomenon colloquially referred to as ‘revenge porn’, can suffer a range of harms – from shame, humiliation, personal violation, and powerlessness to serious psychological injury and suicide.
Our client has been given the lead role by the Australian government to combat IBA, which will also include a public consultation around a new civil penalty scheme to give us broader powers to provide additional recourse to assist targets.
Our client have commissioned TEN ALPHAS to create a series of videos to educate the general public about IBA
What we are looking for is actors that can change their expression in a millisecond.
They have been participating in viewing Image Based Abuse and are caught in the act, and we need to see them see the error of their ways.
We will be looking for a wide range of diversity across the actors in these four scenes.
Most characters have no dialogue, and those that do only 2 lines.
For social media we will be filming a series of one liners from all characters eg “it was only a bit of fun” or “i didn’t think it would go viral”.
Actors will be required to provide their own wardrobe under guidance from TEN ALPHAS.
Actors will be asked to complete a Talent Agreement and will be required to provide an ABN on their invoice and clearly state if they are eligible for GST.
We need to see video of you can be showreel, or a piece you have worked in. You will not be considered without a video.
Please label your resume, headshot and showreel with your Name in the File Description.
