Image-Based Abuse – Office of the eSafety Commissioner

THE CLIENT

The Office of the eSafety Commissioner is responsible for promoting online safety for all Australians. This includes co-ordinatinating and leading the online safety efforts of government, industry and the not-for profit community.

THE CHALLENGES AND SOLUTIONS

TEN ALPHAS was asked to create a series of online videos and a TVC to educate the general public about image-based abuse (IBA). IBA is the sharing of intimate images without consent.

The series took place in a variety of contexts: the workplace, the pub and the classroom, to show how IBA impacts a large range of ages and demographics.

THE RESULT

The Office was extremely pleased with the final products, with the videos featuring on their website and the TVC airing in Melbourne.
