Push-to-Talk for NSW Telco Authority
The NSW Telco Authority is responsible for operational communications services for government agencies. This includes managing the NSW Government Radio Network (GRN) which provides radio communications for Emergency Service Organisations and other government agencies.
NSW Telco is now offering a new service called Push-To-Talk (PTT), which is designed for non-mission critical use, allowing remote users access to radio communications via a mobile application.
THE CHALLENGES AND SOLUTIONS
TEN ALPHAS was asked to create a video to demonstrate how the Push-To-Talk service works in action, using Patient Transport Services (PTS) as a case study. The aim of the video was to inform and educate viewers about how PTT had benefited Patient Transport Services on a daily basis.
We spent the day filming with PTS to capture these benefits, and in post-production we created animations to demonstrate certain concepts that were harder to capture on film.
The client were thrilled with the final video as an introductory explainer about the role of PTT, as well as its practical use by Patient Transport Services. The video was shown at Comms Connect Sydney and received a highly positive response from attendees.
