Wise Employment for Telstra
Telstra Corporation Limited is Australia’s largest telecommunications and media company which builds and operates telecommunication networks and markets voice, mobile, internet access, pay television and other entertainment products and services.
Telstra recently launched their Dynamic Network campaign, which allows organisations to “cut the copper”, i.e. go mobile, eliminating fixed lines through the use of Telstra’s 4G mobile network.
Telstra saw their customer Wise Employment as a model example of a business successfully implementing their services, and asked TEN ALPHAS to produce a customer advocacy video on the company.
Wise Employment are a non-for-profit working in the recruitment sector for disadvantaged people, who help match employees with employers across the country.
Through our discovery session with the company, we discovered Wise Employment had recently launched a campaign called Stand Up for Mental Health. Thanks to Telstra’s fast mobile network, a comedian from Canada was able to train a group of people with mental health issues via Skype sessions. These individuals then performed in front of 700 people in Sydney Town Hall. We followed one of the mental health patients, Sophie, who described a very personal and emotional story of her journey, and told us how she believed the campaign helped to save her live.
We then interviewed the Wise employees whose work had been made easier and more efficient thanks to the use of mobile devices and the speed of the network.
The customer advocacy videos we produced clearly outlined the business benefits Wise Employment experienced by employing Telstra’s solutions, and were enhanced by the touching and emotional human stories told by the Stand Up For Mental Health participants.
Telstra was very happy with the videos and published them on their Website and social media platforms.
